[purchase/affiliate/ad] Hmm – I’m confirming own suspicions that fashion blogging is not my calling (honestly, it’s so awkward to ‘pose’ and I almost never don’t feel silly) BUT on the other hand, we don’t see enough 50+ looks and particularly not on shorties like me. So, I picked up this slipover (and, apparently, slipovers are going to be a huge trend this season) as a try-it-at-home for £9.99 at H&M. Turns out I love it and I’m not returning it, especially as it uses (in part) recycled material.  Actually, I swear I paid £19.99 for it but it’s most definitely listed at £9.99 on-line.

slipover

I’m wearing it with a simple H&M cotton shirt (£17.99 HERE) which I had anyway and M&S Skinnies (£19.50 HERE). It’s really boxy with a slight drop over the shoulder which is what distinguishes it from your child’s cricket jumper.. although if you have one of those – find it!

Yay or Nay?

I’m sparing you the picture of me casually leaning with my hand in the bush (so much respect for fashion bloggers right now – a great one, if you don’t already follow is Aly Walsh @thatsnotmyage) but overall I am pleased with this slipover – really easy to wear: over a flowery dress, with jeans – anything goes – and it’s a good transitional piece for when it’s not quite cold enough for a full on jumper but it’s not warm enough for nothing. Find it HERE.
