[productsample/affiliatelink] This gorgeous smelling duo is perfect for very dry or textured hair. As luck would have it, all that straightening out the humidity kinks with the dryer and straighteners has left my hair more dry than usual and in need of nourishment (and the ends trimming off!).
If you like tropical smelling products, this will be heavenly for you. It’s a proper banana coconut fragrance that’s not overpowering or overly sweet but plenty of notes there to make you really know that the pina colada is happening in your shower! It’s a silicone free formula (also no sulfates, phthalates, artificial dyes or parabens) and vegan. Much as I’m keen on a shampoo formula that leaves my hair feeling super squeaky, I definitely over used those earlier in the year and ended up with my scalp over producing oil. Now that I’ve got a better scalp balance again, my issue is the dry ends and in truth, this combination from Briogeo is much more for relaxed or overly heat-treated hair than my true hair type but as an occasional booster for normal-dry types, it seems to work really well, especially if you’re post-holiday and ruing that sea and sun from a hair condition stand point. It’s £24, as is the conditioner.
While the shampoo has a fresh vibe about it, the conditioner is a lot like a milk-shake both in scent and texture. It’s rich without being gloopy and stronger in scent than the shampoo. I mean, it’s gorgeous – an absolute treat to use and left my hair feeling bouncy and conditioned. I know I don’t have the hair type to use this every wash but gosh, I’m tempted! I wish that the brand would do a lighter version with the same scent for all hair types – I’d absolutely buy it as a treat.
The brand story is miraculous bearing in mind it’s only been around for 4 years, having leapt in that time to $10 million revenue. You can read more about founder, Nancy Twine’s story HERE. You can find both the shampoo and conditioner at Cult Beauty HERE, non affiliate HERE.

It’s probably just me but instead of looking like shampoo and conditioner these look like bottles of cooking oil and salad cream.
Now you’ve said it….. ;-)))
Ooo this stuff sounds so yummy! I may have to give it a go in the future. ^_^
