Usually, I’m a fan of Superdrug own ranges – they just kind of get it and push out products under their own labels that are very good value and actually do the intended job (thinking of B here). However, the Superdrug Sweet Shop is horrid! I know this is aimed at younger women – but I kind of mind that Pear Drops Shampoo & Conditioner smells absolutely nothing like pear drops! It’s just a kind of catch all artificial sweetness that I’d take a million baths to be rid of. I also noticed that the conditioner is kind of gloopy and separated – these are being knocked out at 99p as an introductory offer and I wouldn’t even consider less than a pound a good spend!

I was actually kind of looking forward to Lemon Sherbet dry shampoo – but it smells like, er, dry shampoo. Maybe there was a hint of lemon before it reached my hair (and nose) but it got lost before it made its landing. Vanilla Fudge Face Mask? I can’t even….

And, I expect you can guess what Jelly Bean Body Spray smells of .. yes, that’s right.. not even a hint of Jelly Bean. The only product from the entire Superdrug Sweet Shop range that smells vaguely like it’s title is Raspberry Bubblegum shower gel. But even then, it’s a bit of an insult to both raspberries and bubblegum.

Everything in the Superdrug Sweet Shop range is 99p. But, I just wouldn’t.
