Actually, I just heard that the P50 Body in the UK comes with a special mitt – the US price is without the mitt.. but even so I think it’s well over the odds.

Happens all the time with US brands in particular. When making their decision on UK prices they literally just do it dollar for pound – so this is even more horrifying! As IF you would pay that when it should be about £65 given the exchange rate. *ggrrrr*

Erin if you live in Toronto I picked it up at a spa on Eglington ave w. / west Bathurst. Owners use to work at holts spa. I got the BR for the face. Large bottle runs you around $120.

Jane, honestly-I’ve tried everything! Its not a huge deal though. Its on the tops of my arms but I’m fortunate with my skin everywhere else so I’m still very lucky in that sense. Now I think it’s come down to stubborness. I’ve read so much about KP I am now on a one woman mission. At the moment my assignment consists of tracking a KP miracle cure and that perfect foundation for combo skin-I am dying to get my hands on Cover fx! Beauty obsessions-the struggle is real, isn’t it ladies! So very real! Hahaha 🙂

I still have Ameliorate – which is really effective – but I got lazy over the winter! It’s the best thing that I’ve tried for it, certainly and P50 gives similar results. Have you tried doing some body brushing? That’s a good thing to do for KP but it’s really a matter of keeping going – loads of moisturiser, loads of scrub etc.. xx

To be fair though I think its got a lot more to do with VAT practices in various countries. For instance, I’m in Sweden and it’s a general rule that we pay more for cosmetics than other countries in Europe. As an example L’Oreal’s True Match foundation is 7 pounds in the US, 10 pounds in the UK and 13 pounds in Sweden. On the other hand it might depend a lot on whether the brand in question is established in the country its being sold in (how much shelf space they’ve invested in. For instance Urban Decay was just very recently launched in Sweden in a branch that’s a Boots/Superdrug hybrid called Kicks and we’re seeing price points very similar to the US market.
Sorry for the extra long reply-but I think a lot about the price disparities between countries haha! I’m such a nerd, but it’s really interesting how its all determined 🙂
