Rose is such a common fragrance in beauty – those of you who don’t like rose are severely compromised in many cases! If you can only tolerate rose in the lightest form then Aerin Rose Body Scrub and Body Wash are going to be for you – they have the lightest of touches of the fragrance with an underlying skin scent too (I think I’m getting a bit of vanilla, but it’s just sort of generically pleasant) so you don’t get that very literal translation of fragrance smacking you in the face in the shower.
The scrub is satisfyingly scrubby – it will certainly leave your skin smoother and you’ll walk away with the most delicately fragranced skin. Although we’re talking light scent, it does last well actually – and it’s a very clean scent; more fresh laundry than freshly picked bouquet.
The Rose Body Wash is similarly scented – clean and pretty. I’m not honestly so convinced by the Rose Oil that can be used on skin, hair or cuticles. I suppose all facial oils could be similarly used but it seems a very expensive way to treat your cuticles! Aerin, if you don’t know, is Aerin Lauder, grand-daughter of Estee who has an entire lifestyle line in the US. We don’t really ‘get’ Aerin in the same way as the US simply because we aren’t exposed to Aerin the person in the same way, but you can consider it as the luxury end of face and body.
These luxy face and body treats launch in the UK next month. You’re looking at £35+++.

Does it have the little polyethylene spheres? If so, it’s a pass for me. Who am I kidding, it’s a pass anyway. I love the fragrance, but made the mistake of wearing it in early pregnancy. It now occupies that goofy territory of, “ooh, I love it, get it off me, it makes me want to retch!”
lol.. I didn’t think to check the spheres.. that’s a really good point and I will look at the ingredient list x
