[unpaid/sample] Over the long weekend I had a good chance to put Bloom & Blossom’s cooling products through their paces. Specifically formulated for hot legs and feet Spritzy Toes has a sister product in Legs Eleven which is a cooling serum formula.

Bloom & Blossom Spritzy Toes

Bloom & Blossom began as a mother & baby brand and there’s still a big focus on that – I can well imagine that anyone who gets swollen and hot feet during pregnancy will want to bathe in this stuff. But, it’s not exclusively for everything baby related – if hot or heavy toes and limbs are bothersome for you this will provide some temporary relief. A splash of lime oil is a shot of refreshing zest, aloe vera cools and energises and Pentylene glycol acts as a skin softener. This is something I’d keep by my bedside for balmy nights where sleeping is uncomfortable.

The Legs Eleven serum (£28) has a more lasting effect and a very minty scent for an instant refresh from peppermint leaf oil, along with aloe vera for revitalizing and algin, a seaweed derivative, makes the serum light and easily absorbable. I did find it a little bit sticky for all of about 5 seconds before it settled to a weightless feel.

I loved the Lip Service lip balm – no surprise as it contains lanolin which is also the key ingredient in Lanolips, a balm that I’ve always got along with like a house on fire. So, it felt instantly at home on my lips. There’s no taste or scent (yay!) but the formula also contains passionflower, coconut oil and glycerin and it leaves lips with a juicy sheen that’s not quite full glossy but enough to give lips an instantly softened look. It feels like a snip at £10. Speaking of snips, I’ve noticed that there is a (very good) sale on the site for gift sets – top pick is a self care kit for £23 instead of £50.
