[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m quite a fan of these smaller ‘advents’ and Benefit has worked it so that while it’s still festive, it’s more about the time of year than Christmas itself. Which means that it does lend itself to winter birthdays and other celebrations too.
I never reveal the full contents of any advents because you might want to buy it for yourself and therefore I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but it’s all make up based with everything from pore priming to bronzing to lash beautifying. As you can see, it comes in the – I don’t know the official term – box stacking format (what happened to windows?!) and from personal experience, I can tell you it’s a lot easier to put back 12 in the right order than 24 or 25.
Most advent calendars have turned into value sets – this is no exception because it contains £138 of product and costs £58.50 HERE, non-affiliate HERE. It’s very cute – totally on-brand for Benefit. I’ve really lost track with the brand over the last couple of years so it’s nice to see that it’s still on great form.

Without spoiling the contents either, I had a look and there’s one classic Benefit product that I would have assumed would be inside that isn’t!
Oh – They’re Real??
Both They’re Reals are in there but no Benetint! Which definitely surprised me
Ohhhh – that is a surprise but perhaps everyone is now a bit awash with Benetint! I mean, it lasts forever :-))
I did make it through a bottle once but it took me way beyond the expiry date…! I like that they’ve made the bottles smaller and reduced the price too.
Lovetint would have been a good festive red choice to swap in for one of the mascaras I reckon
