Thank you so much. I am about to part with my hard earned money for Paris-Paris and your review encapsulated everything I had thought about it and why I love it (and all the Chanels!). So off I go to the department store. Thanks again and Bon Chance

That’s a shame – I wonder why it’s not lasting when the others do.

The tester lasted for a day and encouraged me to return to buy but I have been quite disappointed with this fragrance and I am finding it totally disappears soon after spraying. I have other Chanel fragrances which last all day.

Ha – glad it’s not just me that finds that name totally unpronounceable – I mean, he gave it a good go! I didn’t particularly love Le Lion – I liked the adventure of it but haven’t been back to it much since. Yes, if you have mind racing on waking which I do for some reason it’s just a good ‘back in the room’ trick – you probably need to repeat it but eventually you come to associate it with stilling your thoughts.

This name is a tongue-twister for anyone not French… or some kind of torture. I hate that place, and Gare du Nord, I hope some day Paris can “fix” that place.
My favourite in that line is Paris-Edimburgh, which isn’t surprising considering I love Le Lion (and La Pausa, but not so relevant here).
I need to smeel this little one. Might be made for my sister who loves N°5.
And I’m going to try this trick for my insomnia, it would be great if it could work for me as well.

Thank you Chrissie! I’ve never not had a good time in Paris so maybe that’s why I’m so fond of it.

I can’t remember Paris-Deauville at all and Paris-Riviera is underwhelming. This one sounds like it could be my kind of spritz for the times I’m not in Edimbourg!
What fun memories of Paris. I’m saving up for a trip sometime this year, hopefully my feet, bank account and beauty stash can handle it 🙂
Hope is all with you at BBB towers Jane xx

Yes, I think it’s the closest to No.5 so if powdery sweet isn’t for you I can see why. I can’t remember exactly Paris-Venise…

My favourite from this line is Paris – Venise, I can’t get enough of it and am nearly 3/4 through my 100 ml bottle. I will totally be buying another one when it runs out!
