[unpaid/sample] Last year, the re-release of Jo Loves Mango Thai Lime fragrance brought some much needed olfactory colour to my world – I remember being so happy when it arrived because at the time, nothing much was and everything was difficult. It’s such a vibrant fragrance, full of promise and energy that will make you smile.

Now, the bath & shower gel and the body lotion are both back – I’m not sure whether it’s a limited edition again but it’s the perfect summer scent. A blend of kaffir lime, mango and black pepper, you’ll also pick up notes of thyme, mint and vetiver that take it away from the cocktail lounge and straight into the freshly picked aisle.

I’m current using up the Isa Lazo body oil (HERE) on my arms and it’s literally the softest ever oil, as well as The Body Shop butters but if you prefer a quick and light lotion to the heavier sensations of oil or butter, this is a beautiful consistency that works into the skin quickly. It leaves a beautiful scent trail that’s not overwhelming but comes along every now and again to remind you of your good work on skin moisturising.

I’m body moisturising more than I used to (because I ran out of Imedeen then forgot about it but it’s slowly working its way back into my system) and not finding it the faff that I used to for some reason. I think you’d like Mango Thai Lime if zesty and sharp fruity scents speak to you and help you gather energy – my favourite Pomelo is softer than Mango – and any body product whose scent can provoke a memory or sensation that’s nothing but pleasant is always an absolute treat. It’s expensive – £75 for the duo (HERE), or £35 for the hand wash and £40 for the body lotion but feels like a luxury purchase.
