To be honest, I am not a stickler for rules Cal – you do it any way you want – I would say order of product is down to which is nearest but shhhh, don’t tell :-)))

Interesting to note that you apply the polyglutamate stuff on top of this. I’d have done it t’other way around, so it’s good to learn how it should be done!
(Your review has tugged on my mind since it appeared, making me want something just like this immediately. I wonder could one mix a favourite facial oil into one of those ‘lotion’ essences, such as the super-hydrating one by Trilogy, with any success. Hmmm….I must get cracking on that!)

Yes, you’re absolutely right – I think it’s each to their own – I loved the texture of this straight away and it felt ‘right’ on my skin. It’s not, as you suggest, a necessity, but there are those who like a multi-level routine. The thing I liked about this is that it is hydrating on its own and therefore didn’t feel like an extra step – other than the Superdrug Polyglutamic I didn’t put anything else over it. But, point taken and thank you for making it.

I’m sure this is divine but even for diehard beauty addicts it’s just a step too far, surely?!

Ah yes forgot to add…l think The Inkey (or The Ordinary?) range includes that, as we haven’t Superdrug in Ireland, and I’ve been meaning to try it. Both brands are so fab for expanding a skincare arsenal around much more costly items. Thanks!

Thanks Cal – I know, it’s SO expensive (you should try the Superdrug Polyglutamic Acid – I think you’ll really like it and it is not at all pricy) but at the same time, it feels like you have an expensive thing on your face and not everything at that price does.

I must have read somewhere that rose is exceptionally wonderful for older skin, with the result that I actually believe it’s working miracles, and that’s half the battle!
Enjoy this product Jane, it looks and sounds divine,
